Professor Naimul Hasan has been a distinguished member of the Department of Electrical Engineering since 2007. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power System Control from Jamia Millia Islamia in 2007, following an M.Tech in Power Systems & Drives from Aligarh Muslim University in 2002. With a career spanning decades of academic and professional excellence, Professor Hasan served as a Full Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Qassim University, KSA, from 2018 to 2024. His contributions include successfully leading a UGC-funded project and two prestigious international research projects. Professor Hasan's academic focus includes a major in Electrical Engineering and minors in Power System Operation and Control, Automatic Generation Control/Load Frequency Control, and Offline and Real-Time AGC/LFC Controller Design. He has made significant contributions to Load Forecasting Methodology for the Qassim Region of Saudi Arabia and the Real-Time Development and Implementation of intelligent controllers for power systems with renewable energy sources.

In addition to his research and teaching achievements, Professor Hasan has played a pivotal role in shaping academic frameworks. He has been a member of the Board of Studies for the Electrical Engineering Departments at JC Bose University in Haryana and Mahavir University in Uttar Pradesh. He also served as the Coordinator of the B.E. (Electrical Engineering) Program at JMI, ensuring its continuous advancement. Beyond academics, Professor Hasan has contributed significantly to institutional responsibilities. He has been a key member of the Convocation Committee on multiple occasions and has served as the Superintendent for the university’s entrance examinations. Professor Hasan's expertise, dedication, and leadership continue to make a profound impact in the field of Electrical Engineering and the academic community at large.
