Dr. S. Intekhab Amin has received his bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from The Institution of Engineers (India) in 2006. He received his M.Tech degree in Electronic Circuits and System Design from Zakir Hussain College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University in 2009. He then completed his Ph.D degree in 2017 from National Institute of Technology Jalandhar.

He has published more than 75 research papers in SCI/Scopus index journals and conferences. He is editorial board member in Discover Nano, Springer journal and Topic advisor in at Micromachines MDPI Journal. reviewer of reputed journals such as IEEE Tans. Electron Devices, IEEE Transaction of Nanotech., IEEE Sensor Journal, Springer J.of Comp., Elec., Journal of Nanoelec. and optoelec., and many more journals.

He is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He is also serving as an Assistant Dean of Student’s Welfare (DSW) and President (Football) Games and Sports, JMI since 2024.

Research Interest: Device modeling, Design and Simulation of silicon and III-V based Semiconductor Devices viz. Junctionless MOSFET, TFET, FB-FET, TFT, Ferroelectric Devices, Device modeling for sensor application, Digital VLSI Circuits and System Design, Analog/RF Device, Circuits and Sub-system Design for neuromorphic application.
