Dr Hafsa Nigar completed her B.Tech in Electronics and communication Engineering, (with distinction) from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi in 2010 and her M.Tech in Nanotechnology (with distinction) from the centre of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi in 2012. She has worked as a guest faculty at university polytechnic, JMI for 7 years. She received her PhD in 2024, from the from the department of Electronics and communication Engineering, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Contractual) in the department of Electronics and communication Engineering, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, from August 2024. She has also qualified graduate aptitude test for engineers (GATE). She has published research papers in reputed SCI journals and presented papers in international conferences. She has also been granted with a patent on her research related to power semiconductor devices. Her research contributions are mainly in the field of high-power semiconductor devices.
