Debate on Visual Media reestablishes Patriarchal Norms organised by Sarojini Naidu Centre for Women’s Studies
• Debate competition was organized on 8th March 2017 at Nehru Guest House. Topic of debate was “Visual Media Re-Establishes Patriarchal Norms”. Prof. Mehtab Manzar, Provost, Hall of Girls Residence, JMI, was invited as judge for the event. Director, SNCWS, Prof. Sabiha Hussain welcomed Prof. Mehtab Manzar and participants. Both JMI and DU students took part in debate. Enthusiastic participants of the debate shared thoughtful insights on the subject. Winners were announced by the Judge herself post debate. Certificates and Prizes would be given next week sometimes soon by the Centre Director.
