The Faculty of Management Studies is a newly established faculty of the University in April 2022 under the leadership of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Najma Akhtar. At present, the Faculty of Management Studies has three departments:

1.      Department of Management Studies, which was earlier known as the Centre for Management Studies.

2.      Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management

3.     Department of Hospital Management and Hospice Studies

The Department of Management Studies is offering an MBA(Full-Time) enabling students to learn and develop skills in the area of Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, and operations; MBA (International Business), MBA (Entrepreneurship and Family Business). Moreover, this department offers also MBA (Executive) for working professionals. Its Ph.D. programme is a well sought-after programme.

The Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management offers Ph.D. and postgraduate courses as well as undergraduate courses. It offers a Master in Tourism and Travel Management, Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management, Bachelor of Hotel Management, and B.Voc. in Food Production. Apart from these courses, this department offers also PG Dip. in Tourism and Travel Management.

The Department of Hospital Management and Hospice Studies is newly established in 2021. This department offers MBA (Healthcare and Hospital Management).

By throwing a glance at the above courses, it becomes obvious that the Faculty of Management Studies aims to put emphasis not only on business management but also on management education.  With the advent of new technology and the pace with which innovations and changes are taking place the students of these management departments are going to face challenges that would be different from the earlier batches of management students. The students in these departments are bound to be shaped by seasoned and research-active faculty who make the difference in educating and training them to develop value-based knowledge and sharpen their skills to lead the business and management scenarios not only nationally but internationally too.

The Faculty of Management Studies aims to give its best.
