Department of Biotechnology, Jamia Millia Islamia has received a grant from UGC, Govt. of India to promote the culture of research at undergraduate level. The programme has been successfully implemented. Department of Biotechnology has selected 20 B.Sc. Biotechnology students on competitive basis to participate in the said research programme in form of on-hand wet lab training. Following students have been selected on the basis of research write up followed by interview and awarded with annual stipend and contingency for the session 2009-2010.
