Ph.D. Project (Pursuing) – Fault Tolerant Converter for Grid-connected Photovoltaic System The objective of this research is to develop a parallel fault tolerant grid-connected Photovoltaic (PV) inverter system, which will help in enhancing the reliability and maintain continuous supply during the undesirable/faulty conditions. The system has two DC/AC converters, i.e. inverters of 2kW capacity in parallel. The major aim of this work is to establish fault tolerant system such that when there is fault in one inverter, other inverter should be able to handle overall load and ensure the continuous operation of the system |
M.Tech Project – Control of Transformer Less PV Inverter System having partially shaded PV subarray The objective is to control the single phase grid-connected transformer less inverter system having partially shaded PV array so as to reduce the leakage current within the limits described in the standards. It also incorporated extraction of maximum power using two subarrays operating in varied insolation conditions. |
