Dr. Arshad Ikram Ahmad has doctorate in Education and Masters in English and Education.The diversity of experiences can be viewed in terms of his association with Directorate of Education, Delhi as an English teacher, SCERT, Delhi as Lecturer in Methods of Teaching English and with Department of Educational Studies, JMI as Associate Professor in Language Education. His areas of interest are Language Education, Educational Administration and Sociology of Education. He is multilingual and is fully conversant with and experienced in editing and developing materials in Hindi, Urdu and English Languages. His contribution to developing trilingual dictionaries with the Department of Languages in NCERT and English Textbooks for Bihar State Board Schools is witness to his being polyglot. He supervised as many as fifteen Doctoral Studies and equal number of M.Phil. level researches. He has also been the Coordinator of two important research projects and has published more than fifteen research papers and articles in various journals of National and International repute. Apart from his academic engagements, he held different administrative positions.
