Press Release: Jamia to deliberate on “Profession of Social Work at the Cross Roads”

The UGC-Centre for Advanced Study, Department of Social Work, Jamia Millia Islamia is going to organize a two-day All India Conference on “Profession of Social Work at the Cross Roads”.

The Inaugural Session is scheduled to be held on February 23, 2012 at 10.30 AM in the Conference Hall of FTK-Centre for Information Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia.

Dr. Mihir Shah, Member, Planning Commission, Govt. of India will deliver the Inaugural Address on this occasion.

Prof. Leena Kashyap, Deputy Director, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai will deliver the Key-note Address.

The Valedictory Session of the Conference is scheduled to be held on February 24, 2012 at 4 PM which will be addressed by Mr. R.P Sisodia, Joint Secretary (HE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, New Delhi.
