Co-Curricular Activities

Along with the curricular activities, the students also participate in various co-curricular activities throughout the year.
These include:

BACHCHON KI HUKUMAT
(Children’s Government): The school follows a Parliamentary system to enable its children to become more responsible, organized and disciplined. They further gain confidence and are prepared for a worthy life as good citizens of India.

The cabinet consists of:

  • Sadar ( President)
  • Chief Justice
  • Wazir-e-Azam ( Prime Minister)
  • Wazir-e-Maliyat (Finance)
  • Wazir-e-Aaraish ( Decoration)
  • Wazir-e-Ittelaat ( Informations & Broadcasting )
  • Wazir-e-Taleem ( Education)
  • Wazir-e-Sehat Aur Safai ( Health & Cleaning)
  • Wazir-e-Dakhela ( Home)
  • Wazir-e-Kuraak ( Food)
  • Wazir-e-Khel ( Sports)

The ministers start working as soon as the Elections are conducted after appropriate campaigning, followed by Masnad Nashini (Oath ceremony) and the Ek Din ka Madarsa (One day school). The Cabinet, with the help of teachers, brings out its annual school magazine named “Gehwara”.

NEHRU TROPHY: It is an important part of the Foundation Day celebrations organized in October in the University campus of Jamia Millia Islamia. It consists of different cultural competitions.

SPORTS DAY: It focuses on the physical development of the children by participating in a variety of sports events for boys as well as girls such as Basket Ball, Cricket, Football, Kho-Kho etc.

ANNUAL FUNCTION: The academic year winds up with its annual function and distribution of prizes to merit holders and prizes related to different events organized throughout the year.
