Jamia Girls Senior Secondary School believe in all round development of girls so School time to time organize variuos inter-house extra-curricular and sports activities.The school endeavours to provide ample opportunities to students to harness their potential in multiple directions.
Besides these activities certain other occasions are provided to groom their personality e.g. Freshers 'Party ,FareWell Party and Teacher's Day.The students can unleash their creative talent and express themselves artistically.
InterHouse Sports Activities(2011-2012)
1. Inter-House Badminton Competition
The results of these competitions were as follows: Inter House Badminton tournament which was organized on 27th &28th April gave an opportunity to our girls to learn a lot from the game & will surely put this experience to good use. The girls should gain confidence from this first match & take on boards the lesson learnt.

2. Inter-House Carrom Competition
One of the most popular indoor games, Carom which was once treated a past time game limited to children & ladies is now being played at competitive level in an organized manner.It is as scientific as billiards also referred as finger billiards which requires a thorough knowledge of angles, deftness of touch, keen sight & superlative control of nerves, it also requires skill & deep concentration.

Runner Up : Ms Huma Jafri XII Sc. Green House
3. Inter-House Chess Competition
Winner: Ms Bazla XII Sc. Red House
Runner Up: Ms Sadia Khan X A. Yellow House
4. Inter-House Dodge Ball Competition
Inter House Competition for Dodge Ball was organised on 23rd and 24th August 2011. House in-charges were briefed about the rules of the game so that they can help their house teams during the practice sessions. Each class of the school was given practice during the physical education period and then the house teams were selected. These house teams were further given practice during the lunch break. Students participated in the competition with full enthusiasm and competitive sprit.
The result of the competition is as follows:

Runner Up: Blue House
5. Inter-House Ball Pass Relay Competition
Third Inter House competition for Ball Pass Relay was held on 23rd September 2011. As usual the teams were given practice during their physical education classes and during the lunch break.
The result of Ball Pass Relay is as follows:
Winner: Blue House
Runner Up: Red House
Along with Inter – House Competitions, practice for school Basketball team and Cricket team also started. Basketball practice is being organised at University Sports Complex in the morning from 6.30 AM to 8.30 AM w.e.f Sep. 2011 in which 30 girls are participating. The practice in the morning is supervised by Ms Amtul Saba, PET, on all working days.
Cricket practice is being done on Saturdays and Sundays from 6.30 AM to 8.30 AM w.e.f. Sep. playing at school ground. Practice is conducted under the supervision of Ms Amtul Saba, PET with the help of Mr. Atiqur Rehman, a teacher in the Jamia Girl’s Sr. Sec. School. 25 girls are participating in the practice
